BROWN-FORMAN ANNOUNCES THE START OF ITS OWN DISTRIBUTION IN ITALY

Brown Forman Corporation (NYSE:BFA, BFB), one of the largest American spirits companies, today announces the distribution plan for its brands in Italy, starting from 1 May 2025

Italy is an important market to drive the growth of the Jack Daniel's portfolio globally, together with the group's latest acquisitions: Gin Mare and Diplomático Rum. We believe that the creation of our distribution business on the Italian territory will allow greater attention to the consumer, giving priority to our brands, supported by an experienced and talented team", he said Yiannis Pafilis, EVP, President Europe, Brown-Forman. 

According to IWSR, Italy is among the top five spirits markets in the European Union (excluding UK) and market leader for Gin Mare globally. In Italy, Brown-Forman is the leading company in the premium+ spirits sector, with Jack Daniel's whiskey number one on the market and Gin Mare in second place in the super premium+ gin category, the fastest growing category in the last five years (IWSR 2022 ). 

Brown-Forman sells its brands directly in several European markets, including Belgium, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Luxembourg, Poland, Slovakia, Spain, Turkey and the United Kingdom.
