Lunedì 08 aprile, in occasione dell’ultima tappa del tour di mixology più famoso d’Italia , andrà in scena Mix Contest Italy Tour Milano by MT Magazine , una battle tra i più importanti protagonisti della miscelazione nazionale, che verranno giudicati sia dal pubblico votante, sia da una giuria di professionisti del settore, che per ogni cocktail realizzato valuterà tecnica, presentazione, originalità e gusto.

Nomi noti e assoluti emergenti di grande talento, fianco a fianco per giocarsi l’ultima alla rincorsa della finale di questo appuntamento diventato un punto di riferimento centrale nel settore, grazie alla partecipazione di un pubblico sempre più affezionato e alla collaborazione di aziende leader, che sono alla ricerca – come noi – delle maggiori stelle della mixology italiana.
Per questa tappa si è scelto di aprire la selezione ai locali meneghini per dare importanza e far conoscere al meglio la miscelazione milanese. I bartender si sfideranno a colpi di cocktail grazie anche alle più importante industries di beverage mondiale, che hanno sposato un progetto finalizzato a riaccendere i riflettori sull’arte della mixology in scena a Milano.

Ogni concorrente dovrà presentare in gara i 2 cocktail. La sfida, aperta al pubblico, sarà una vera e propria drink experience during which you can taste the competing cocktails and vote for your favourite.
Your votes will be added to those of a technical jury made up of industry experts and will decide the winner at the end of the evening.

A LITTLE HISTORY OF MIX CONTEST
It was 2017 when an event entirely dedicated to mixing appeared in Turin for the first time. He took the name of Mix Contest, because in the mind of its creator, Laura Carello, it had to be one battle between bartenders to be held in front of the eyes of a public judge and taster, who at the end of the evening would vote on their favorite cocktails to crown the winner of the alcoholic duel.
At the beginning, no one could imagine the success that event would have: within a very short time, Mix Contest was on the lips of all the bartenders in Turin, who also began to talk about it with colleagues spread across Italy. From there, the idea of creating a traveling contest, which sought the best bartenders from Piedmont to Sicily: today, Mix Contest is a consolidated event in the world of mixology, capable of discovering new talents and highlighting the main points of reference of contemporary Italian beverage. An important event for all professionals: barmen, importers, beverage companies, professionals.
But also – and this is what made it special Much loved Mix Contest – an opportunity for the public to discover the best of contemporary Italian mixology. As always, in fact, the different stages of the tour will be open to the public, who will be able to taste the cocktails proposed by the challengers and also express a preference, which will be added to the votes of the technical jury, called from time to time to elect the winner of the stage.
