Rinaldi 1957 toasts its fifth GinDay

There are many new features in the portfolio of the Bolognese company.

Rinaldi 1957, Bologna company distributing wines and spirits, come back at GinDay in Milan and it does so with important innovations that have just been released.

Rinaldi at GinDay 2023 which has an intuitive format: counters where it will be possible to taste the gins in purity thanks also to Valentina Tamburi (Marketing assistant Rinaldi 1957) and Ilaria Bello (Brand Ambassador and Advocacy Rinaldi 1957) and three thematic bars: Negroni, Gin Tonic and Martini where it will be It is possible to taste the gins when mixed.

Isle of Raasay Gin

Isle of Raasay Gin arrived in recent weeks and is the first distillate legally produced on an island that has become known for the numerous illegal distilleries that have populated it. It is an artisanal gin that combines ten botanical components  carefully selected which include Raasay juniper, orange and lemon peel, rhubarb root, angelica, iris, licorice, coriander seeds, cubebe pepper and double distilled alcoholate. A fresh, aromatic gin with a nice dry finish for lovers of traditional gins.

Another important novelty in the portfolio of Rinaldi 1957 is Sakurao Gin in its Classic, Original and Limited versions. Sakurao Gins are the creation of the Sakurao Distillery, founded in 1918 in the city of Sakurao, in southern Japan. The company has been producing various spirits for more than a century (sake, shochu, whisky...). The distillery is located on the coasts of the Seto Sea, facing the island of Miyajima and has the ambition of producing spirits that combine innovation and tradition.

Sakurao uses two simultaneous extraction methods in Arnold Holstein bronze stills. Hybrid distillation is the ideal method for extracting flavors from ingredients. The botanical components  generate a broad spectrum of aromatic notes, which include fragrant citrus fruits such as lemon and the rich fragrance of yuzu, Japanese cypress and even oyster shells. Cherry blossoms are another popular botanical in the Japanese style and are known as Sakura. The symbol of Sakurao.

Naturally, the Italian novelties well represented by the brand new cannot be missing Rivo Agrumato Summer at the Lake. An edition of Rivo Gin dedicated to summer that talks about Italian citrus flavours. Sweet and bitter orange, lemon and bergamot are added to the Rivo recipe to obtain a gin with citric hints which still remains very dry and is therefore suitable for Gin Tonics and Martini Cocktails.

And speaking of the most majestic of drinks, one cannot fail to mention it Insulae Saline, the new launch of Insulae Spirits which combines the very fresh Sicilian notes of Insulae with the salt from the Trapani salt pans, the caper from Pantelleria and the cucunci. Savory and innovative notes that add an extra touch to theInsulae Tonic or Martini Cocktail with the olive or, why not, with the oyster.

Gin Day in Milan

Gin Dayfinally, it will be the debut for the new gin from Distilleria Nannoni: Priscilla Tuscany London Dry Gin. It is a very particular gin that comes from the Maremma with botanical components  ranging from Altea, Grindelia, Melissa, Abrotano, Absinthe, Thyme and Tansy. These aromatic plants all come from Monte Amiata as does the juniper that accompanies them in the recipe and gives life to a fresh gin with hints of apple.

The non-alcoholic gin trend has led Rinaldi to choose the distribution of Yu No, the new gin launched by the producers of Yu Gin which follows the recipe in a version that includes 0% alcohol.

They complete the Rinaldi 1957 range and await you at Gin Day 2023 also Santa Ana Gin, Fifty Pounds Gin, Aviation, Buckingham Palace Gin, Royal Windsor, Ramsbury, Ginepraio Mediterraneo and Navy Strength, Gin Vento, Gin Pilz, Rena41, Principum and Barber's Gin.
