GUGLIELMO MIRIELLO NEW DIRECTOR OF THE MANDARIN BAR & BISTROT

Mandarin Oriental, Milan announces the appointment of Guglielmo Miriello as Director of Mandarin Bar & Bistrot, starting from Monday 8 November. In addition to further developing the mixology proposal, Guglielmo will be responsible for the entire offer of the Bistrot and - together with Executive Chef Antonio Guida - will aim to offer Guests an increasingly integrated experience between signature cocktails and haute cuisine.

Born in Crispiano (Taranto) in 1980, Guglielmo discovered his passion for the art of mixed drinking already during his years at hotel school. He then moved to Milan, where he refined his technique in prestigious structures, from Bulgari to the Excelsior Bar. His professional growth was perfected abroad, in particular as Bar Manager at the Sugar Bar of the starred "Maison Pourcel", in Shanghai . Numerous awards: in 2010 he was among the finalists of the Innovative Drink of the Year Contest in New York, in 2011 he excelled in the Italian selection of the World Class Competition and entered the world final in New Delhi.

Since 2013, Guglielmo has returned to Milan: first as director of the Dry Bar in via Solferino, then at Ceresio7, where he began a fruitful and award-winning collaboration with chef Elio Sironi. In 2021, he was awarded the Order of Merit as a Knight of Hospitality. In his new role as Director of Mandarin Bar & Bistrot, Guglielmo will bring with him attention to the Guest and his highly innovative vision, which has always translated into continuous research and personalization of the service, in line with the values of the Group.
