From 10 to 11 September, however, the two days, The Gin Day 2021

To celebrate the event, Onesti Group will be present with its iconic products and some of the new brands acquired in its rich portfolio.

The numerous events will be divided between appointments, tasking desk, seminars and masterclasses dedicated to the spirit in the best cocktail bars in the city and exposure to Megawatt Court, which in its fifth edition is now a point of reference for companies and producers, but also lovers of juniper distillate.

The 6 new Onesti Group references

Among the new references in the portfolio of Onesti Group which will be presented during The Gin Day 2021 we start from India, with a stop in the capital with its Milanese heart up to the most innovative London tradition with four signature proposals Portobello.

Jin Jiji India Dry Gin

Expression of the Indian soul, Jin Jiji Dry Gin is produced in GOA, India's vibrant craft spirits capital. India in itself represents a true botanical garden divided by crops of juniper and chamomile in the North and by the cultivation of cashews and spices in the South.

Jin Jiji it is in effect an artisanal Indian gin, distilled in small batches, with Darjeeling tea and foraged wild Himalayan juniper. The name comes from the Hindi word Jijivisha, a word used to describe the will to live, desire to spread happiness and positivity with the world.

Distilled in a copper still, among the main botanicals we find: juniper, coriander, black tea, angelica, tulsi, cashews and chamomile.

Giass London Dry Gin

The Gin Meneghino par excellence which tells the story of five friends, who were born in this city, raised there, found and found each other again to create not only a gin, but the first London Dry Gin in Milan. The word Jass derives from the Milanese dialect and means "ice", while the ornamental motif of the bottle is inspired by the geometries of the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele.

The real challenge of Jass consists of using the classic London Dry methodology, usually used with simple recipes, to develop a new generation complex gin, characterized by the harmony between the elements, among the floral botanicals there are: rose petals, chamomile flowers, violet, orange blossom which combine in a union of freshness with chopped almonds, mint, fennel, citrus verbena, cardamom. Its personality arises from a union of different components, designed to give an eclectic impact but with a dry and immediate finish.

From the same family we find the most powerful and aromatic version Giass Navy Strength Gin and finally the softer and more lovable version Giass Gin of the House, a delicate gin to be enjoyed on any occasion.

The new Portobello Gins
Celebrated Butter Gin

Celebrated Butter Gin takes inspiration from stories "Sketches by Boz" Of Charles Dickens, in which the author meticulously documents the London of the time and in particular his personal experience at Gin Palace. In the stories he describes in detail the labels of the gins with rather creative names, given the illiteracy rate, to make anyone understand the characteristics of each gin.

The name Celebrated Butter Gin it was more due to a marketing strategy used to emphasize that the gin was of high quality. Today, however, it represents a London Dry Gin Portobello Road redistilled with ten blocks of unsalted English butter, which gives a creamy mouthfeel and lively edge on the palate. The butter adds some of its qualities to the gin and at the same time takes some in return, this exchange of aromas allows for a lighter and more ethereal gin than a London Dry.

Portobello Road Savory Gin

It draws inspiration from the Mediterranean Sea in both aromas and flavors, Portobello Road Savory Gin uses a variety of classic gin botanicals and a selection of Mediterranean herbs and citrus fruits, forming a bouquet with delicious herbaceous notes of basil, rosemary and finally green olives completing it with the addition of a pinch of sea salt after distillation. On the nose, the mix of citrus fruits and herbs gives the sensation of a sea breeze; the taste, however, is brilliant and with a dry finish due to the olives and enveloping in the same way thanks to the presence of nutmeg.

Portobello Old Tom

It is a tribute to the first gins of the eighteenth century produced by Gentlemen Distillers who produced gin using a higher quality alcohol using real juniper and other natural botanicals. Known as one of the finest gins of the time, the Portobello Old Tom represents the father of all gins with an alcoholic base of grain distilled in pots and redistilled with juniper, coriander seeds and liquorice root. Finally, it is left to age, with a small addition of sugar, in old sherry barrels which give it that persistent golden yellow flavour.

Portobello road Sloeberry & Blackcurrant Gin

Portobello Road Sloeberry & Blackcurrant Gin was developed by the Master Distiller and Co-Founder, Jake F. Burger. Botanically intense version of the classic London Dry Gin, mixed with sloe berries foraged from the wild lands of Burgundy, two liqueurs, one made from French blackcurrant and one from Italian cherry, with a small addition of sugar. Finally, it is then left to rest in ex-whisky barrels.
