Pisco Porton Italy announces the beginning of the Pisco Summer Tour, an initiative that will see the participation of Johnny Schuler, one of the most renowned Pisco experts worldwide.
The tour will be divided into four stages in the splendid cities of Rome, Florence, Milan and Turin, offering enthusiasts and the curious the opportunity to get to know the fascinating world of Pisco up close. Pisco is a Peruvian spirit, obtained from the fermentation and distillation of grape must, famous for its aromatic and versatile flavour. Thanks to its intense and distinctive traits, it fits perfectly into the growing interest in Peruvian and Nikkei cuisine, enhancing its unique flavors and creating unforgettable gastronomic experiences. The stages:
- Rome, July 28: The tour will begin in the Italian capital, where Johnny Schuler will be present as World Brand Ambassador for Porton and the world's leading expert on pisco. Guests will have the opportunity to discover the secrets of the production of this Peruvian distillate and appreciate its different varieties. The setting for this stop, The Mosquito, on the evening of July 28th.
- Florence, 29/30 July: The second stop will take the Pisco Summer Tour to the cradle of the Renaissance. Here, Johnny Schuler will share his passion and knowledge of Pisco in an event that will unite culture and tradition. On the 29th we will be guests of the Empireo Rooftop View American Bar & Pool, of the historic 4-star hotel Plaza Lucchesi for a pisco night, and the following day, July 30th, it will be Peruvian haute cuisine with Nikkei variations of You are to complete the Tuscan stage, with a masterclass and dinner.
- Turin, July 31st/August 1st: Aperitif with the Maestro on July 31st at the restaurant Kay Peruvian Essence from 6pm to 8pm. The following day, August 1st, the tour will end in the Savoy city, known for its refined food and wine tradition. The stop will be hosted by the local revelation of many food guides and a new rising star, Azotea, Of Matteo Fornaro, which offers high-quality Nikkei cuisine accompanied by unique cocktails for a sublime pairing. Johnny Schuler will close the Pisco Summer Tour with a memorable event, where Pisco will be the protagonist of an exclusive drink list. 5 of the most important bartenders of Piedmont will interpret in their own way the fusion between Pisco and the local vision. Zoppi Distillery will also be a guest of the evening with its brand ambassador Dennis Zoppi.
