MIX CONTEST ITALY TOUR 2024: Verona hosts the seventh stage of a Contest that seeks the best Cocktail Bar / Bartender

The Mix Contest Italy Tour 2024, the travelling competition of MT Magazine  , continues his journey through Italy in search of theThe best Bartender/Cocktail Bar. After the success achieved in the Turin stage, held during the Nitto ATP Finals, the tour now reaches Verona for its seventh stop, marking an important novelty for the city.

Over the years, Mix Contest Italy Tour has become a unmissable appointment for operators in the mixing sector and represents a precious opportunity for leading companies to discover new talents in the Italian mixology scene.

One of the distinctive aspects of the contest, since its first edition in 2017, is interactivity with the public. In addition to being able to taste the cocktails created specifically for the competition and experience evenings of fun, each stage provides the opportunity for the participating public to express their vote, assisting the jury in decreeing the winner of the Audience Award, that is the most popular Cocktail Bar by the public.

In this edition, established bartenders and young promises of the mixology will compete in various Italian cities, including Catania, Palermo, Bologna, Rome, Milan and Turin. Leading the competition will be a technical jury composed of Bar Managers, journalists, Chefs and other industry experts selected for each stage.

At the end of each event, the votes of the public will be combined with those of the technical jury to determine the winner, who will directly access the final of the Mix Contest Italy Tour, competing for the title of “Best Cocktail Bar in Italy” by MT Magazine.

In this 2024 edition, new prizes will also be introduced: the Best Drink, awarded to the cocktail prepared with the products of the companies sponsoring the contest, and the Best Speech, which rewards the Cocktail Bar capable of best describing its creation through the art of storytelling.

Mix Contest Italy Tour 2024: the seventh stop in Verona

The seventh stage of the 2024 edition of Mix Contest Italy Tour will be in Verona Wednesday 04 December at 19.30, where the best of Venetian mixology will meet the public of mixology enthusiasts for the first time to conquer even the most demanding palates.

Everything will take place in the setting ofthe Eataly Verona and will see the participation of 10 participating Cocktail Bars:

The main sponsors of this sixth edition of the Mix Contest Italy Tour who have embraced the project that brings the spotlight back on the art of mixology in Italy are Three Cents, Lucano, Mancino Vermouth, Bitter Fusetti and Ice Cube, while the sponsors are as follows:

After this date Mix Contest Italy tour will take a winter break to return in 2025 with the last stages and the final in February 2025 which will see the election of the Best Cocktail Bar in Italy. The final will be held, as usual, in Turin, the birthplace of the contest.

History 

Mix Contest Italy Tour was born in Turin in 2017 by MT Magazine, created by the profound connoisseur of the world of mixology Laura Carello, with the intention of creating an event entirely dedicated to the art of mixology and to put the spotlight on it. It also allows the public to get to know Bartenders and Cocktail Bars selected by the MT Magazine guide and more.

The growing interest in the contest led over the years Laura Carello to expand the competition to Bartenders not only from Turin, but from other Italian cities, initially maintaining the Savoy location as the theatre of individual events taking place throughout the year, and then going beyond the Piedmont borders in 2019 and thus becoming a real Italian tour of mixology in search of the Best Bartender of the Bel Paese.

Speaking of numbers, the Mix Contest Italy Tour 2023 saw 8 stops around Italy, 100 participating Cocktail Bars from North to South with as many as 200 Bartenders and 32 thousand drinks served during the competition evenings.
