It's time for new drinks, it's time to Mix Contest Italy Tour 2023.
Once again, a selection of the best bartenders from all over Italy will compete with cocktails in an on-the-road competition, which will cover the Bel Paese from North to South looking for the best bartender MT Magazine.
Well-known names and very talented emerging names, side by side to play the individual stages in the run-up to the final of this event which has become a central point of reference in the sector, thanks to the participation of an increasingly loyal audience and the collaboration of leading companies, which they are looking – like us – for the best stars of Italian mixology.
Many surprises, many drinks to taste and, as always, the inevitable public participation of lovers of the world of beverage to help us choose the super finalists who will compete for the title at the beginning of 2024.

On the occasion of the new stage of Mix Contest Italy Tour 11 of the best Bolognese cocktail bars will compete in the splendid setting ofNh Hotel De La Gare in Bologna.

A little history of Mix Contest Italy Tour
It was 2017 when an event entirely dedicated to mixing appeared in Turin for the first time. He took the name of Mix Contest, because in the mind of its creator, Laura Carello, it was supposed to be a battle between bartenders to take place in front of the eyes of a public judge and taster, who at the end of the evening would vote on his favorite cocktails to crown the winner of the alcoholic duel. No one, at the beginning, could imagine the success it would have after that event: within a very short time, Mix Contest was on the lips of all the bartenders in Turin, who also began talking about it with colleagues spread across Italy.
From there, the idea of creating a traveling contest, which would seek out the best bartenders from Piedmont to Sicily: today, Mix Contest is a consolidated event in the world of mixology, capable of discovering new talents and highlighting the main points of reference of contemporary Italian beverage. An important event for all professionals: barmen, importers, beverage companies, professionals.
But also – and this is what made it special Much loved Mix Contest – an opportunity for the public to discover the best of contemporary Italian mixology. As always, in fact, the different stages of the tour will be open to the public, who will be able to taste the cocktails proposed by the challengers and also express a preference, which will be added to the votes of the technical jury, called from time to time to elect the winner of the stage.
Mix Contest Italy Tour continues
After Bologna we will fly to Parma for the next stage. Then Turin, Trieste, Milan until arriving at the new final at the beginning of 2024, after having toured the whole of Italy in search of the best cocktails of the year and those who know how to be true mixology artists.
