What is the Salone del Vermouth?
The Vermouth Salon was born with the aim of celebrating the richness and variety of the Vermouth, a drink that has deep roots in tradition, but which is now experiencing a new renaissance, thanks to the growing interest of consumers and professionals in the sector.
With the Vermouth Salon we have created a space where producers, bartenders, chefs, experts and enthusiasts can meet, discuss and network, thus promoting a Vermouth culture which is both historical and modern.
The first edition of the Vermouth Show
Our goal is to offer an immersive experience, which goes beyond simple tasting. The Vermouth Salon It aims to be a platform to discover new products, learn from industry professionals and, above all, share the passion for a drink that, due to its versatility, is capable of adapting to the times, while keeping its traditions intact.
Laura Carello is proud to bring this event to life, which not only celebrates Vermouth, but also promotes the connection between people and the stories behind each bottle.
The second edition of the only and first event dedicated to Vermouth
The second edition of the Vermouth Salon will take place at the headquarters of National Museum of the Risorgimento in Turin in Piazza Carlo Alberto 8, on February 22 and 23, 2025
The first event entirely dedicated to Vermouth , a distillate that has always represented an excellence of our city.
The event, which will involve the most important manufacturing companies of Vermouth, the best Cocktail Bars and restaurants in Turin, will develop into a real two-day show and a series of spin off which will animate for a whole week ((from 17th to 21st February) the city of Turin.
It will be an opportunity to learn about Vermouth and discover all its variations, its history, its food pairings and its different uses in mixing.
As a hosting location we thought of a place that is representative of the city, such as the Museum of the Risorgimento, always used as a space for events and demonstrations.
What's happening at the Vermouth Show?
During the two days of the fair, thematic meetings dedicated to the world of Vermouth and meetings with producers. There will also be talks and insights into the history of Vermouth, in the presence of journalists and industry experts, bartenders and chefs. Topics related to the growth of production of the Vermouth, to the birth and development of the aperitif ritual, to the use of Vermouth in mixing and its combinations with food.
The event will be interactive, thanks to thematic areas that will involve the public in real workshops, such as mixing or tasting the Vermouth and combinations.
The two-day show will be framed by the Outside the Salon (the Diffused Vermouth Hall), a week of events linked to the restaurants, bistros, bars and cocktail bars of the city of Turin, which will be the true protagonists of the event thanks to dedicated menus and cocktail lists, but also through masterclasses and talks with guests and producers from all over Italy and Europe.
