«After the success of the Vermouth Hall, I thought it was a great idea to come back with a new edition of the Turin Cocktail Festival – he says Laura Carello, deep connoisseur of the world of mixology, founder of the magazine MT Magazine and the mind behind the creation and organization of the Turin event – Turin is the home of the aperitif and there are many professionals who know how to work very well and who know how to enhance the mixology of the Piedmontese capital. There have been many companies in the industry who believed in the project and wanted to put the spotlight on it Turin mixing.

I didn't want to host international guests because the focus of the Turin Cocktail Festival it was about the mixology of Turin, but also of the province and of Italy as a whole. The bartenders, among the locals and the guests, have created a very strong community and networking and the public had the opportunity to actively participate and enjoy the proposals created specifically for the event".

In fact, many people were born in Turin High-end Cocktail Bar, places where mixing is study, research, fun and above all art of drinking. These were precious days for networking, exchanging ideas and opinions on mixology and, above all, an excellent opportunity to get to know each other among the professionals.

«This year I noticed a much more cohesive and united community – he tells us Andrea Dracos, bar manager of Borgnino Heirs -, there was more desire to party than to show off. Finally Turin is having a community that is well together and all aiming for the same goal, that is raise the level of mixing in the city and make yourself known outside the city."

Speaking of outside Turin, great importance was also given to the realities of the province of Turin and beyond, with the participation of Pulp Workshops from Settimo Torinese (TO), GAF from Cambiano (TO), XXL from Chivasso (TO), Roots of Asti and the 3P Cocktail Bar of Ivrea (TO), hosted in Turin Cocktail Bars such as the Grand Bar, The grocery store and the Flora.

«We have had a great response from consumers – Dracos from Eredi Borgnino tells us with satisfaction – who also had the opportunity to learn about a mixology different from ours thanks to our guest Mark Munzi Of House of Ronin. I can't wait for another event like this where we can all party together."

There were also some events during the week gourmet dinners in combination with interesting cocktail proposals at Nikkei restaurant Azotea with Carpano And Marco Masiero of the Issei Rooftop, from Borgnino Heirs with Bonaventure Male And Mark Munzi Of House of Ronin and from Divine Place with Saint Teresa Rum and the cocktail proposal of Simone Sacco and Alice Viola of the Floor 35

«It was an event characterised by a strong participation – he commented Matteo Fornaro, Bar Manager of Nikkei Restaurant and Cocktail Bar Azoteaespecially from colleagues. It is perhaps one of the years in which we have been more united where we went to visit everyone, a great opportunity to network, team up together and party! I am very satisfied with this edition".

«I'm happy that the spotlight has been turned on mixing in Turin – comment Martina Franchini, Bar Manager of The grocery storealso because for several years the restaurant business in the city has made progress and it is right that the mixology does the same. There was great support from the bartending community and it was an opportunity for sharing among all the Cocktail Bars in Turin».

Finally, if you think about a future edition of the Turin Cocktail Festival, «It is an event with great potential – he says Ansony Murcia, Bar Manager of the Floor 35 LoungeI would like the next edition to give space to the latest from industry professionals, to have a greater mix of topics covered, therefore going beyond mixology and, last but not least, to increasingly increase consumer involvement in the event, as well as that of industry professionals».
