Yukisato is the Japanese whiskey that releases the authenticity of Japanese culture

Yukisato

With three different spirits, Yukisato Blended Whisky, Single Grain and Pure Malt, Coca-Cola HBC Italia expands its Spirits portfolio.

Coca-Cola HBC Italia, the main producer and distributor of The Coca-Cola Company brand drinks on the national territory, introduces Yukisato into its Spirits portfolio, a fine Japanese whiskey that recounts the tradition, elegance and quality of Japanese culture.

Yukisato, what is it?

Yukisato is handcrafted and produced on a small scale in the mountains of the far north of Nagano Prefecture, in the cultural heart of Japan. The spring water coming from the nearby mountains, the harsh winters and the hot, continental summers that characterize this region are exceptional conditions for the production of Japanese whisky.

It is a whiskey with a contemporary spirit but, with its three variations, it releases a profound respect for the authenticity of the tradition and nature in which it is immersed.

Yukisato Blended Whisky, aged for 3 years in ex-bourbon barrels, it has an elegant and fruity flavour, but with the strong character typical of malt whisky. Amber in colour, it has cereal notes and a light sweetness with an aftertaste of caramel and vanilla. A smooth whiskey that is easy to drink straight.

Yukisato Single Grain, aged for 4 years in ex-bourbon barrels, it is a delicate and sweet whisky, thanks to the hazelnut aroma and the timid hints of caramel and honey. The taste appears soft thanks to the notes of tropical fruit and vanilla.

Yukisato Pure Malt, aged for 4 years in ex-bourbon barrels, offers a delicate balance of flavors, due to a skilful blending of different malts. It is characterized by a warm aroma, mixed with nuts and raisins. On the palate it presents notes of almond and vanilla, a long and persistent finish with spicy flavors that are expressed in a long and deep aftertaste.

The comment by Maria Antonella Desiderio, Premium Horeca & Spirits BU Director of Coca-Cola HBC Italia.
